The other weekend, Josh and I took a road trip to Dallas. I was going for an overnight business trip and decided to take Josh so he could see my parents for one night. Although the business side of the trip was a bust (I hate Dallas traffic), we still had fun.
The first picture below is Josh at the McDonald’s at 122nd and I-35 in Edmond. He made it this far before he had to stop to potty.
This next picture was Josh sleeping in my car. I guess the car seat sits up straighter in my car, because he was slumped over the whole time he was sleeping. This was probably the most comfortable position he was in while sleeping. I would have had a crick in my neck when I woke up, but he seemed fine.
Later we took a picture at a gas station. Though Josh liked the “Heart store” (Love’s) more, the old bench in front of this one made for a better picture.
Not sure if I would take him down to Dallas just for an overnight trip again for awhile, as that’s a lot of car time for a kiddo to just see his Nana and Papa for one night. But he was a real trooper.

The door’s open, but I don’t see the llama.
(Josh after we told him not to open the front door because it was alarmed)
